Join Our Next Training Flight

Join a free Preliminary Session.  In these sessions we'll guide the player through the first two suborbital flights in a science or career-mode game.  This introduction builds the foundation necessary to participate in the open-ended regular sessions.

Regular Sessions

"What is your goal right now?"

We start each session by finding out what each player is trying to accomplish... and go from there.

Participants will learn concepts like the rocket equation, delta-v, specific impulse, thrust-to-weight ratios, in-situ resource utilization, aerodynamics, and how to apply all these ideas to solving rocket design and mission planning problems in the simulated worlds of the fictional Kerbol  star system.

Participants are encouraged to play the game independently between sessions to develop confidence applying skills independently, and motivate questions for group exploration and discussion.

Preliminary Session

Before enrolling, every student participates in a Preliminary Session. This allows us to make sure you have the foundational skills necessary for self-directed exploration.
